Oxygen and Gas Fittings

Safety is the main focus for oxygen and gas fittings. Many compressed gases are oxidising and can ignite spontaneously, without an ignition source, when in contact with oil and grease. Therefore, lubricants, that are used in oxygen and gas fittings, have to meet demanding requirements. LUBCON specialty lubricants are approved by the BAM (German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing) in Berlin. They feature extraordinary temperature stability and good sealing properties. The lubricants have remarkable oxidation stability, are physiologically inert and non-inflammable. In addition, the grease should be resistant to the used gases for the lubrication and sealing of gas fittings. LUBCON lubricants for gas fittings are resistant to the influence of gas and chemicals. Turmotemp II/400 CL 1 VAT

The special synthetic lubricant meets the NSF/H1 guidelines for lubricants. The grease is non-toxic and inflammable. The temperature range is between -30 °C up to +260 °C.

Turmotemp II/400 OX

This grease is a lubricant for oxygen systems. It is tested by the BAM (German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing) for the application in valves and other lubricating points which are in contact with gaseous oxygen (oxygen pressure up to a maximum of 60 °C = max. 120 bar). It is thus used for the lubrication of e. g. seals, roller or journal bearings within oxygen carrying installations. The grease has high thermal and chemical resistance, excellent pressure absorption and a low pour-point. Moreover, it is neutral towards materials such as metals, plastics and elastomers.

Turmotemp M 802

The white special grease is approved by BAM for the application in valves and other lubricating points which are in contact with gaseous oxygen (oxygen pressure up to a maximum of 140  °F/ 60 °C = max. 120 bar).The grease is not miscible with other lubricants, besides PFPE based lubricants. The grease has high oxidation stability, high chemical, thermal and pressure resistance (EP-properties), low evaporation losses (evaporates without residue) and a low pour-point. The lubricant is inflammable, applicable as high-vacuum lubricant up to 10-6 mbar. It does not cause swelling of plastomers and elastomers and is compatible with all metals across a wide temperature range.

Turmoxygen LCO 25

This product has been developed with a focus on its resistance to oxygen. It is tested by BAM (German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing). The oxygen-pressure-surge is limited to a working temperature of 60 °°C at 300 °bar. The lubricant can be applied at temperatures from -30 °°C up to +240 °°C. The grease is utilised for the lubrication of e. g. fittings and packaging in contact with oxygen such as in autogenous technology, oxygen units in the medical sector or diving stations.

Turmoxygen LCO 27

This product has been developed with a focus on its resistance to oxygen. It is tested by BAM (German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing). Moreover, it is NSF/H1 registered as a lubricant that can contact incidentally with food. The oxygen-pressure-surge is limited to a working temperature of 60 °C at 450 bar. The lubricant can be applied at temperatures from -40 °C up to 260 °C. The grease is utilised for the lubrication of e. g. fittings and packaging in contact with oxygen such as in autogenous technology, oxygen units in the medical sector or diving stations.

Turmoxygen LCO 36

This product has been developed with a focus on its resistance to oxygen. It is tested by BAM (German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing). Moreover, it is NSF/H1 registered as a lubricant that can contact incidentally with food. The oxygen-pressure-surge is limited to a working temperature of 60 °C at 360 bar. The lubricant can be applied at temperatures from -40 °C up to 240 °C. Lubricants for Gas Fittings

Turmogrease NAK 500 MF

Heavy and efficient grease suitable for the lubrication and gas tap seals. The sodium complex grease with high viscous mineral oil and a special thickener combination has excellent oxygen resistance and non-resinification. The grease is stable towards diluted acids and alkalis as well as all gases that are used in the household.
