In the oxygen area pressures up to 300 bar meanwhile have become very common in permitting a storage of more than 45 % of gas in comparison to the 200 bar technology within a consequently less storage volume and warehouse capacity. The additional weight adds up to 15 % only and therefore, the application time of the oxygen bottles is considerably extended and contributes to a higher efficiency.

This is the main reason for the special attention paid to the high resistance against oxygen in application areas where pure oxygen is applicable. A reaction with this media would extremely alloy the function of the valves and fittings.

TURMOXYGEN^® LCO 36 has been developed to fulfil these high requirements in the oxygen area. Because of its extremely high resistance it stands up to high pressures as well as to shock pressures up to 360 bar and avoids simultaneously, absolutely non-toxic, the contact and reaction with the oxygen. A contact with food is possible without any problems due to its physiological harmless character and NSF registration (H1).

It is one of the main tasks to secure the lubricated units and to guarantee a safe application in the oxygen plants. With the necessary safety reserves TURMOXYGEN^® LCO 36 passed the BAM test (Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing, Berlin) and is ready for a safe application in practice.
